Moving and changing
Always rearranging
Surprising
Even my best
Interpretations"

"We meet with distance
You speak in jest
We were closer
I protest
Things are never
Like they seem
I wrestle with reality
And long to keep
The dream"

"Parting such sorrow sweet
For blossoms of love do weep
Upon their recognition seeked
Knowledge of themselves
Sweet because the depth is seen
Like freeing of some moonbeam
From the moon
Which
Still attached
Know not their source
Till freed to look between
Of course"

Requiem for a Planet
"Try it yourself
At four a.m.
Go outside
And breathe the air
Damp and
Polluted
Then visualize
This planet
And the smog above each city
Spreading with the wind
Now reaching silently
Even you in
The darkness of the
night
Do you wonder
Even still
How we ignore its
Deathly creeping?
|
"Like a grain of sand
You slip from my hand
And fall into the sea
I stand on land
With empty hand
Calling your name
To Eternity"

"Like puzzle pieces
Fitting only at a distance
Could it be
That we are but
A measure of resistance"

"Trees
Headlights showing
Finger branches iridescent
Magic tunnel travels
Through foglight night
Silvered wintered branches
Passing by"

"Throw everything
Far away
See the pieces
Scatter
Pretend it doesn't matter
Watch the changes
You just got used to
Changing"

"Behold not the future
Nor the past
Cannot you be free
Of them at last
Don't look ahead
Don't look behind
Its only garbage
In your mind
Don't judge
Its already past
Don't hang on
It cannot last
Its last weeks dinner
Floating past
Its not here
Now its gone
Its not relevent
Right nor wrong
Behold no future
Behold no past
Just home
Here
Now
At last
Free from the future
Free from the past
Just watching changes
As they pass"

Slipping

Coating my
Mind
I'd hoped to
Find substance
Behind the
Scenes
Not slip downstream
To empty
Dreams"

Once a cat
In a state of
Disintegrate
They all had lunch
The came to dine
They're all fine
This week's treats
On Scrump"

A projected
Scheme
A clash crash
A freedom run
Between the scream
And the middle
Of the dream
A gasp for air
Smothered by care
Read the print
Between the lines
Have to squint
With open minds"

Are becoming
Pretty subtle things
Hidden in the
Obviousness
Of present moment
Dreams"

Special today
Lentles tomorrow
When you go away
Yuk it up

I heard the saint
Throw up

I heard you point

I saw you listen
